I’m Natalia Duron, a journalist based in Atlanta.
I’m a graduate of the University of Georgia, where I earned my degree in journalism through the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Outside of reporting, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, traveling, and exploring local record stores.
I believe that journalism is the most powerful form of human connection.
Putting words into the world is a delicate art. Journalism is more than a headline, and more than breaking news. It’s listening closely as someone shares their most personal thoughts, and carrying the responsibility of presenting them with honesty and care. It’s capturing the local bakery owner’s smile in a photo or sharing a family’s embrace during a prayer vigil.
I believe sharing stories is a beautiful act of friendship and trust.

I believe in the power of the First Amendment.
The First Amendment is the heartbeat of journalism. It protects my freedom to tell stories openly, ask hard questions, and pursue truth without compromise. With that freedom comes a responsibility to remain objective, to report with accuracy, and to ensure that every story I share is rooted in fairness and integrity.
I believe that there are endless stories to tell.
Once you realize every person has a story to share, you start looking for them everywhere. Whether in a packed stadium or sitting in rush hour traffic, each face around you carries an experience worth hearing.
Through my work, I hope readers are inspired to look closer at the people they pass every day, and maybe even start a conversation of their own.

At the heart of it all, l truly just love talking to people and passing their stories on. In today’s changing world, digital media makes it possible for those stories to reach further than ever before, connecting communities instantly and giving more people the chance to be seen and heard.
To share news truthfully and powerfully, across both traditional and digital platforms, is a responsibility I hold with pride and honor.
